Refund Policy

1. Overview

 

At Affetto Gifts Ltd, we aim to ensure all customers are satisfied with their purchase. This policy explains your rights and our procedures regarding returns, refunds, and cancellations.

 

This policy applies to both consumer (B2C) and business (B2B) customers.

 

 

2. Consumer Cancellation Rights (B2C Orders)

 

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

 

To cancel your order, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving the goods by emailing [Insert Email Address].

 

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

 

To qualify for a refund:

 

  • Goods must be unopened

  • Goods must be unused

  • Goods must be in their original packaging

  • Goods must be in resaleable condition

 

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the goods are faulty.

 

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

 

 

3. Exclusions from the Right to Cancel

 

The right to cancel does not apply to:

 

  • Personalised or bespoke hampers

  • Custom-branded corporate gifts

  • Perishable goods

  • Sealed food items once opened

 

If a hamper contains perishable or food products, cancellation rights may not apply once delivery has taken place.

 

 

4. Damaged or Faulty Goods

 

If your goods arrive damaged or faulty, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing [Insert Email Address].

 

Please include:

 

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the damage

 

We may offer:

 

  • A replacement

  • A partial refund

  • A full refund

 

Where goods are confirmed to be faulty, we will cover reasonable return postage costs.

 

Consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.

 

 

5. Incorrect Delivery Information

 

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.

 

We are not responsible for failed deliveries caused by:

 

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses

  • The recipient not being available to accept delivery

  • Courier access restrictions

 

If goods are returned to us due to incorrect information, additional delivery charges may apply.

 

 

6. Business Customers (B2B Orders)

 

For business customers:

 

  • Orders are non-cancellable once preparation or assembly has begun

  • Claims for shortages, damage, or defects must be made within 48 hours of delivery

  • After this time, goods are deemed accepted

 

Refunds are at our discretion unless goods are proven faulty.

 

 

7. Refund Processing

 

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

 

We aim to process refunds within 14 days of receiving returned goods or approving a refund claim.
